The “World of Smart ID Solutions” is looming at the horizon – Kernkonzept will again attend Omnisecure in Berlin. It will be the fourth time for us and we are already looking forward to sharing our expertise and experiences in developing cyber security software.
With around 400 visitors, 100 speakers at 25 big forums and more than 50 sessions, the 3 days of Omnisecure 2023 promise to get busy for us. Kernkonzept is registered to hold two lectures concerning IT security, one being held by our CEO Dr. Michael Hohmuth. He wants to present the idea of a composite accreditation, based on a separation kernel that is approved for secrecy level GEHEIM. This will surely elicit some excited discussion!
After this talk on day 1 of Omnisecure, Kernkonzept will continue to contribute to the program on day 2: Our Head of Product Katrin Kahle has teamed up with Michael Vogel, CEO of atsec information security GmbH, to talk about how to develop and maintain a secure open-source software. They will report on opportunities and challenges from the evaluation of the open source L4Re Operating System, using the German government’s confidentiality requirement profile ‘separation kernel’ with the goal of a Common Criteria certification.
